This course is a dedicated training guide for BoBo Dice, an innovative, gamified rehabilitation system that pairs smart, motion-detecting dice with a digital app to transform hand therapy and cognitive training into an interactive experience.

What the Course is About

The course introduces therapists, clinicians, and home-care providers to the technology behind BoBo Dice. It covers how to seamlessly integrate these 3D-sensor-equipped dice into therapeutic workflows to treat pediatric patients, individuals recovering from stroke or hand surgery, and geriatric patients aiming to preserve independence.

What You Will Learn

  • Device Setup: How to connect the Bluetooth dice, utilise different-sized adaptive shells, handle the 10-second fast-charging setup, and navigate the iOS/Android companion app.
  • Targeted Hand Exercises: How to guide patients through specialised fine motor movements, including dynamic tripod grips, translation and rotation, bimanual (two-handed) coordination, and tip-to-tip pinches.
  • Dual-Task Cognitive Training: How to implement games that simultaneously challenge physical dexterity and mental processing (such as memory, focus, matching, and basic math).
  • Data Tracking & Customisation: How to read real-time clinical metrics (like rotation speed, movement accuracy, and cognitive scores) to track patient progress and build objective, personalised treatment plans.
