Introduction & Overview

Our Brand Dr Aktive specializes in high-performance and single-patient medical devices.

Our main focus is making sure the products are easy and effective to use, specifically in a rehabilitation setting, whether it’s for post-operative recovery, injury treatment or sports recovery.

What is the Cryo Pro XL

The Cryo Pro XL is one of many products from our Dr Aktive range.

Designed for professionals and serious recovery users, this latest cold compression therapy device will target relief through a combination of cold therapy and intermittent compression.

This model is a significant upgrade from the original Cryo Pro, offering the following

  • A larger reservoir for extended use
  • A more powerful pump for consistent performance
  • The ability to run two wraps simultaneously using the dual hose accessory.

The Cryo Pro XL is simple to use, requiring only ice, water and electricty power.

It also comes with seven different wraps which are simple and easy to apply on the targeted area of the body.

With the Cryo Pro XL, you can also choose from 9 different programs to control the duration and level of compression.

Why Cold Compression Therapy?

Cold Compression Therapy is a clinically supported method for accelerating recovery, managing pain and reducing inflammation particularly after injuries or surgery.

When cold is combined with compression, it can be particularly effective for pain associated with swelling around joints or tendons.

The Cryo Pro XL combines two principles

  • Cryotherapy, which helps with reducing swelling and numbs pain by slower down nerve activity.
  • Compression Therapy, which helps with improving circulation.

By reducing inflammation and swelling, cold compression can create a more optimal environment for faster healing and speeds up recovery time.

With this, cold compression can also prevent further injuries as it stabilizes the affected area and prevent further damage during your recovery period.

One of the biggest benefits is also that it is non-invasive and drug-free. Unlike other methods of treatments, cold compresion therapy does not require medication or surgery making it a safer and natural option.

Futhermore, additional studies suggests that Cold Compression offers an early pain relief advantage and better control of joint swelling than traditional ice packs.

Also, standard ice packs do not provide compression and constent cooling controlled temperated.
